Kristen joined Scott Sternberg of Sternberg, Naccari & White to teach two sessions at the New Orleans Federal Bar Association's Justice Camp at the Eastern District of Louisiana. At Justice Camp, a cohort of 9th and 10th graders from around Louisiana spend the week at the EDLA to learn about the court system, civics, and trial advocacy skills. Scott and Kristen led an interactive session about the Bill of Rights, in which students discussed the effect of the enumerated rights on society today. The following day, students learned about landmark First Amendment cases and their implication on students speech in the age of social media.
