Kristen presented "Foundations and History of the Justice System" to New American Pathways' Civic Pathways Leadership Program. Civic Pathways is an 8-month leadership development program for refugee and immigrant communities created by New American Pathways in partnership with the University of Georgia’s J.W. Fanning Institute of Leadership. Kristen's presentation focused on the constitutional foundations for the legal system in the United States, the branches of government, and the structure of the American state and federal court systems.
